The organisational chart of the Department of theTreasury is defined by the Dpcm (Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers) no. 125 of 26 July 2023. The competences and organisation of the individual structures are laid down in the DM (Ministerial Decree) of 7 August 2024.

Office I
General affairs, secretariat and management support. Analyses and studies on private savings investment habits, channels and liquidity management behaviour by savers with reference to the subscription of government bonds also with a view to innovating placement channels for this market segment. Development, in conjunction with the Institutional Communication and Events Office, of marketing and communication strategies based on surveys and studies carried out using special databases, aimed at building loyalty and managing relations with the final subscribers of public debt instruments specifically targeted at the private savers and asset management market.
Office II
Coordination of relations with Italian and international institutional investors on matters falling within the competence of the Department of the Treasury, in close liaison with the Director General of the Treasury, the other departmental structures and the Minister's direct collaboration offices. Planning and implementation of meeting opportunities with the financial community, to ensure attendance, directly or through representatives of the administration, at key events such as trade fairs, road-shows, events and international meetings, including those related to international financial organisations and think tanks. Production and coordination of dissemination content and publications, including in foreign languages, support for the preparation of speeches, hearings, speaking notes and presentations for the external communication of the Director General of the Treasury and, where required, also of the Minister, in close liaison with the Cabinet Offices.
Office III
In liaison with Directorate II, it management of relations with the credit rating agencies of the Italian Republic. Analysis of the methodologies adopted by rating agencies for the creditworthiness of sovereign issuers in order to monitor the indicators relevant to the determination of the rating of the Italian Republic. Coordination of the preparation of documentation to represent the national economic and financial environment, both as part of the regular review process of the rating attributed to the Italian Republic and on the occasion of specific requests by rating agencies. Analysis of documentation prepared by the agencies in connection with rating actions taken against the Italian Republic, as well as comments and other reports on creditworthiness issues.
